In March 2024, the Institute for Women’s Policy Research published Quick Figure showing that the number of women working in the trades has reached the highest ever level since 2018, a growth of 28.3 percent over five years!

For decades, women have been underrepresented in construction and related careers. Yet these fields offer high-paying, stable opportunities that align with problem-solving, creativity, and leadership skills.
