Assists homeless families locate housing and services 2-9 members with a minor child in their custody. Must work with a Case Manager from an approved Service Provider, pass a criminal background (prior convictions and/or drug related activities are grounds for denial) and agree to comply with property rules, regulations and lease provisions.

Long term, low income housing (income near or below the poverty level). Property is owned by individual landlords all over the county. The owner of the property has to be signed up through the housing authority in order for that property to qualify.

Salvation Army Domestic Violence Shelter Program

This program is a 30 bed safe house for victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault and their dependents. Counselors are available 24 hours a day. Food, personal hygiene items, laundry facility and detergent, shoes and clothing are provided. Residents will be asked to attend support group counseling once per week and individual counseling at least once a week. Children will be provided with individual and support group counseling as well.
