Mission Statement

Our mission at Bay District School Maintenance Department is to maintain all facilities in such a manner as to ensure the classroom environment will support the educational goals of the district in a safe, effective and efficient manner.

Our Department

The Maintenance Department features specialized shops to serve our district maintenance needs. The largest shop, the Specialty Shop, caters to supplies, warehouse/inventory and equipment and automotive repairs. The Specialty Shop includes the locksmith's, masonry, welding and grounds keeping. The Carpentry Shop facilitates all structural up keep on district owned facilities. The HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) Plumbing, and Electrical departments provide the expertise to repair and maintain our school facilities. The Work Control Specialists are available to assist any school needing the support of the Maintenance Department.
